Welcome to the Research Center for Media Literacy in Language Education. Our mission is to empower Kazakh youth with media literacy as a vital socialization and intercultural communication tool. Dr. Yelubayeva is a seasoned educator and researcher specializing in language education. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has led numerous research focused on creating teaching resources. Her current research centers on empowering Kazakh youth through media literacy as a tool for socialization and intercultural communication.
Lead Researcher
Dr. Sholpan Kudyarova specializes in integrating media literacy within Kazakh language education. She is passionate about promoting cultural relevance in education and developing resources that bridge media literacy and language learning for Kazakh-speaking youth.
